Developmental process of C. pallens male reproductive system. The C. pallens male reproductive system at different developmental stages was shown. The testes in adults 0 days post-emergence (DAE) have a similar size and shape to that in older adults (A-E). The accessory glands in 0-day-old male adults were small in size and then grew gradually with the increase of age and became fully mature 5 DAE (F-J).
