Intromission frequency (A; IF) and ejaculation latency (B; EJL) in spiny mice paired at different stages of the menstrual cycle. IF and EJL are similar between those cycle stages where intromission occurred. Intromission occurred in a series between 6 and 18 events (A) and EJL occurred between 7 and 24 min after the first intromission (B). All data are mean ± SD and significance set at p < 0.05.
